Ezio Gribaudo – The Weight of the Concrete

A conversation with the publisher’s team from Axis Axis and Lilou Vidal. In dialog with the work of Gribaudo and experimental poetry, Jackie Wang presented a new intervention, entitled A New Pliable Concrete: Between Water and Earth while Jesper List Thomsen read his piece Avoiding The Genius across the two spaces of Paint it Black and at the Archivio Gribaudo.

A monographic publication exploring the multifaceted legacy of the Turinese artist and publisher Ezio Gribaudo (1929–2022). This bilingual volume revisits Il Peso del Concreto (1968), Gribaudo’s seminal work blending graphic art with concrete poetry, edited by Adriano Spatola (1941–1988). This new edition contextualises Gribaudo’s oeuvre alongside works by over forty artists and poets across generations, focusing on the interplay between image, text, and materiality.
